There I sat, amidst the sand,
In the wildest heat and sun,
My saffron robe waved in the wind,
My journey had begun,
The agonies went all unnoticed,
and I felt bliss and trance,
My mind was still, calm and alert,
And waited for the glance.
The glance, O yes, the glance at truth,
I lived for this whole life,
the glance that'l shatter all the myths,
the fallacies trusted and rife.
Slowly the illusion began to fade,
The heat and pains all gone,
I was not the "Me" I knew,
All was HIM alone.
In the wildest heat and sun,
My saffron robe waved in the wind,
My journey had begun,
The agonies went all unnoticed,
and I felt bliss and trance,
My mind was still, calm and alert,
And waited for the glance.
The glance, O yes, the glance at truth,
I lived for this whole life,
the glance that'l shatter all the myths,
the fallacies trusted and rife.
Slowly the illusion began to fade,
The heat and pains all gone,
I was not the "Me" I knew,
All was HIM alone.
